The Luxury Fashion & Retail Management course is designed to develop professionals with a strong understanding of the luxury fashion business, retail strategies, brand management, and premium customer experience. The one-year programme combines the creative world of fashion with the commercial and managerial skills required to operate within the rapidly evolving luxury and lifestyle industry.

 

Students explore luxury brand heritage, consumer behaviour, fashion marketing, retail management, visual merchandising, buying and merchandising, digital retail, clienteling, and luxury customer experience. The course also introduces students to the distinctive characteristics of luxury products, craftsmanship, pricing, communication, and the changing expectations of today's affluent and discerning consumers.

 

Through brand case studies, retail visits, market research, practical assignments, live projects, and industry interactions, students gain hands-on exposure to the functioning of luxury brands and retail environments. They learn to analyse markets, develop retail strategies, create compelling customer experiences, and understand the business decisions behind successful luxury brands.

 

The course prepares students for careers across luxury fashion, premium retail, lifestyle, beauty, jewellery, watches, hospitality, and

e-commerce, while also providing a foundation for those aspiring to establish their own luxury or lifestyle ventures.

Minimum 10+2 / Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board.

Students from any academic stream—Arts, Commerce, Science, Humanities or Vocational—may apply.

Students appearing for their Class 12 examination may also apply, subject to successful completion.

English proficiency sufficient to understand course content, participate in discussions and complete assignments.

Basic written and verbal communication skills are expected.

Basic computer and digital literacy.

Willingness to participate in practical projects, presentations, workshops and collaborative assignments.

Access to a computer/laptop and reliable internet connection for online or hybrid learning components.
