Course Overview
Imagine. Design. Create.
The Fashion Design course is a comprehensive one to three year programme is designed to develop students' creative, technical, and professional skills required to pursue a career in the fashion industry. The course introduces students to the complete fashion design process—from research and concept development to illustration, textile exploration, pattern making, garment construction, styling, and collection presentation.
Students develop a strong foundation in design principles, colour, fashion illustration, textiles, pattern making, garment construction process, and fashion history, while learning to translate creative ideas into functional and aesthetically relevant garments. The programme encourages experimentation, individual expression, and an understanding of contemporary fashion trends and consumer needs.
Through studio-based learning, practical workshops, market and industry visits, design projects, and hands-on garment development, students gain experience in transforming concepts into finished products. Digital tools, sustainable practices, fashion business fundamentals, and portfolio development further enhance their professional readiness.
The course culminates in the creation of a complete fashion collection, allowing students to demonstrate their creative vision, technical expertise, design development, and presentation skills through a professional portfolio and final collection.
The programme is ideal for aspiring fashion designers and creative individuals who wish to develop a strong foundation in fashion design while building the skills and portfolio required for further study, employment, or entrepreneurship in the fashion industry.
