Fashion Styling

FS

6 Months  /  On Campus  /  Online  /  Hybrid

Course Overview

Curate the Look. Define the Style. Create the Impact.

The Fashion Styling course is designed to develop creative professionals who can transform fashion concepts into compelling looks, visual stories, and personal identities. The course explores the art and business of styling across fashion editorials, advertising, e-commerce, personal styling, fashion shows, celebrity appearances, and digital media.

Students develop a strong understanding of fashion trends, colour, silhouettes, proportions, textiles, accessories, grooming, and visual aesthetics, while learning how to research, conceptualise, and execute styling ideas. They are introduced to the complete styling process—from developing a creative concept and mood board to sourcing garments and accessories, coordinating teams, and producing the final look.

The programme combines fashion knowledge, creative direction, image-making, communication, and practical styling skills. Through photoshoots, editorial projects, retail exercises, personal styling assignments, fashion events, and industry interactions, students gain hands-on experience working within professional creative environments.

The course also introduces the business of styling, including client consultation, budgeting, sourcing, portfolio development, freelancing, and professional networking. Students learn to understand different brand identities and client requirements and translate them into distinctive and commercially relevant styling solutions.

By the end of the course, students develop a professional styling portfolio and the creative and practical skills required to pursue opportunities as fashion stylists, personal stylists, editorial stylists, e-commerce stylists, celebrity stylists, visual merchandisers, and creative styling professionals.
